Usually set to 2600W but the slider won’t move now and 250W is at the upper end. Any ideas?
Have restarted the inverter numerous times.

What does it say your battery capacity is? Maybe it's wrong? It might state 500 Wh, for 250 W (usually half the value I think).
If it does look wrong, let's say it's a 5.2 kWh battery, thus 2600W max discharge, then it could be a loose comms cable.
Have a search of the forum via the menu top left and search for comms cable. You should find details on where it is/how to get to it.
Looks like you may be on to something there, thanks. On the app they show ok but on the inverter it shows 0.5kwh

geoffreycoan thanks, nothing on the inverter notifications since May which is odd.
Can’t find a thread specifically saying which is the comms cable - odd that all 3 batteries show up ok in the app but clearly something has decided to break
Google the installer manual for your inverter
In that you should be able to find the diagram of the ports.
I think they're hidden under a cover you have to unscrew and remove.
It'll just need pushing in a bit if it is a loose cable. There's no clip, it just slots in. Not a great design!
Dabz You might try doing a ‘reset to defaults’ of the inverter in the portal and see if that clears whatever has gone weird.
Otherwise I think its GivEnergy support after the bank holiday.
geoffreycoan thanks, I tried a reset too but it didn’t change anything. Oddly the app shows discharge at higher than 250W even though the setting is still stuck.
Perhaps rather than fiddle (the inverter is in the loft) I’ll wait and call GE on Friday when they reopen
Dabz All very strange. My bet is something has got changed/corrupted in the inverter config somehow. If you look in the remote control history on the portal do you see any unusual commands that refer to 250W or similar?
Looks like something fixes itself overnight - now back to proper settings for discharge. Very odd
