Does anybody have a scheme how the GivEnergy is managing it’s security? How is GivEnergy connecting to my inverter? How is being prevented external people getting in the inverter?
GE uses encryption, to make sure only you (and them) can access your equipment.
They seem to prioritize security very highly, which is good. They had a vulnerability discovered by a security researcher last year. Here's his personal blog post:

To summarize, researcher praised GE's quick response and subsequent fix within 24 hours, which says a lot. If another security incident arises, we can hope the GivEnergy team will address it and fix it promptly. Not every vendor is capable of or willing to do that.
