Over the past few days, my system has been discharging at a fix 780-790 w rather than the max 3000 it should do - regardless of the demand from the house, and I can't figure out why it would suddenly start doing this. Anyone else ever had this or anyidea how revert it?
Battery discharging at a fixed wattage
TheOmnisis first thing to ask is where you batteries are located and what BMS version you are on?
It could well be that your battery discharge rate is being affected by the cold weather. They charge and discharge slower in the cold. Much slower. There’s other forum posts on this.
Worth checking also you haven’t accidentally got the discharge rate set to 780W but my guess is temperature
THe batteries are all located in an insulated shed - it is outside but the temperature in there is well above freezing - the first thing I checked was the discharge rate and it was set to 3 kwh - so I set that to 0 and then reset it to 3kwh as I know just the act of resetting it can help - still didn't change. However, looks like the Givenergy support have finally done something as I've had a reply to me email eventually (so frustrating they don't allow you to call anymore) and just checked the app and I'm discharging correctly again!
