Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything relevant when searching.

Where does the inverter get the data from for the power graph - specifically the Battery Power and Consumption numbers, and is there a way to calibrate this?

When our solar generation and grid usage are 0, Battery Power appears to consistently track about 20-25% above the Consumption number for typical loads under 500W, with that gap narrowing to about 10% when loads peak around 2kW.

I'm assuming the Battery Power figure comes from the battery so is near enough reliable, and that the consumption number comes from a CT clamp somewhere?

Is a discrepancy this wide considered normal, or is there something I'm able to adjust or change to better calibrate it?

I always assumed that the difference was the conversion loss in the inverter, i.e. it's taking 387W from your battery to supply 321W of consumption (the other 66W effectively being what it takes to run the inverter). Inverters get more efficient when you get closer to their rated power, so maximum loss will be at lower powers.

Yes, inverter will take some to run all the time, and then there will be some used (and heat) to convert 51v DC to 240v AC.

It'll be the power the unit itself uses, and the losses from doing the conversion. I hadn't thought of either of those.

AFAIK consumption is inferred rather than measured directly - inverter measures the grid activity, and computes consumption based on that plus whatever it is generating on its AC output, less what it is sending to the battery.
