Anybody tried replacing the inverter dongle with a Ethernet to usb adapter?

steve51158 This has been suggested before and it won’t work, there’s specific logic in the GivEnergy dongles.

Your best bet if you have a wifi only (older) inverter is to place a dedicated wifi repeater nearby and connect that to the ethernet.

Or put in a mesh network. I tried powerline but found over time it wasn’t reliable
