I've just installed a system and currently having a play around with the settings, quick question. What difference does the ECO setting make to the system?
Eco Setting
DavidChristie If you want the system to supply house load from PV and battery and charge from PV without any intervention from you, leave it in ECO. If you want to prevent the battery charging for any reason, or want to discharge to grid etc, fiddle with the settings. If you do fiddle, check that the settings on the portal are the ones you want to leave it with as there's sometimes discrepancy between what you set it to and what actually gets to the inverter via the cloud portal.
ECO basically tries to minimise import from, and export to, the grid, by juggling Solar/House load and Battery input/output. It is the default mode, and the one I usually leave our system on. Works well!
Thanks for the solid advice - Cheers
Thanks Tim, appreciate the advice
