Plug and Go - Constant Restarting

For some context, my parents have a Mini Cooper SE and a GivEVC + AIO.

The EVC is set to Inverter Controlled (its plugged into the Gateway) and Grid charge only.

When the EVC is set to Plug and Go and the Mini is set to Scheduled we are seeing about 1.2kW per hour being pushed into the Mini, the charger is constantly looping between charging and finished.

The Mini has been in and the service centre is keeping quite on any issues, I am not sure that they are doing any testing when it is in....

Is there anything I can do to test that this isn't a fault with the EVC?

I am now confident it is not the charger, I have been an tested it with the Megane and it worked perfectly so I am now pointing the finger at Mini.

I don’t have an AIO so options maybe different in the app. I have Standalone, CT Meter, and Inverter. I have been using Standalone which used Grid only at 7kW? Do you have this option?

matttheotter Im afraid that doesn't mean its still not the charger - if you charged a different mini then yeah, but a different make and model means it could still be the charger not working well with the mini - especially if the mini works on another charger fine.

I did have a quick pour over the mini app to see if I could see anywhere to lower charge but there isn't anything and mine was on scheduled using Octopus API for IG and I never saw anything like that issue though I have a old dumb charger.

Ill try a manual schedule when I next need a charge to see if mine plays up, ideally someone using your charger and car pops on here and confirms either way

Possibly try as Matttheotter mentions on just trying a normal charge not a timed one (though not sure how he's doing that with no opposable thumbs) and if you know of a public 7 kWh charger use that to see how it goes.
