DJtheengineer a solid red light indicates a battery fault. I’m afraid you will have to send a message to givenergy and ask for them to help you out. The telephone lines are currently closed so you can only send an email or fill in the website form and wait for their response
I also have a solid red light on the battery... Inverter is OK Occurred during the cold spell as the install team had not enabled the "Winter Conditioning" setting and i believe it got to cold! Been waiting for GE to come back to me... so far, been waiting 3 days!
I have had an occasional red light.
It can clear itself but a few times it hasn't.
A reset has solved it and it's returned to green.
If it's constantly returning to red even after a reset then you are out of options and need GE to advise.
If you are not on the latest firmware you will be asked to update if you can.
I think mine fault happened when the battery was -3c, maybe it's damaged the cells.
Will a battery fault stop the inverter generating any solar?
Battery and Inverter both say idle and are doing nothing
Hi I just have an AC 3 inverter linked to my batteries as the solar is linked to another inverter so I don't have the same setup as you.
I suggest if you want advice here it's best to describe what set up you have exactly and firmware versions.
Then describe in detail all the steps you have taken to resolve the fault.
Without this detailed information people can't really advise you.
Bear in mind this forum is akin to a pub where folk meet with an interest in GE kit. So you might get lucky with help, you can increase the chance by providing lots of detail.
