Only one account on app

I have 3 phase supply and so have two accounts. Since app update only one account shown on app. I have to log out and log in to second account. Any help how to add second account to app. Sorry new to this.

I would have thought your installer can set everything up on one account. I don’t have 3 phase but I have two inverters and they are both on the same single account. I believe there may have been (2+ years ago) problems with multiple inverters on an account and installers used to just create two accounts to get round this, but why create 2 accounts for you today?

Suggest asking GivEnergy to merge the accounts or recreate you with a single account if at all possible

Thanks for reply. I have 14k in panels and was told it needs to be split down separate phases so two accounts. Have tried to ask Givenergy but seems not to give phone support.I will try Givenergy again.

Gadget 2703 I have 14k in panels as well, 4k FIT and 10.4k GivEnergy. All mine is on a single phase and remarkably with no DNO export restriction.

Its likely that your DNO supply wasn’t as lucky as mine and the only solution for your array size was to go to 3 phase.

You’ll have to log a query via the GivEnergy web form and wait for a response, support seem very overloaded at the moment so may be a week or so. I can’t see why you can’t have all the inverters on the same account, as I say, it’s what I do and it works fine in the app and the portal.
One caveat to it working fine is that I can’t signup for the Octopus Intelligent Flux tariff. Having multiple inverters on the same account breaks their signup process and they weren’t able to resolve it for me. Seems it’s a limitation of the Octopus systems at the moment. Any other tariff works fine, just not OIF so as long as you don’t want to be on OIF, get the accounts merged

Hi thanks for that. We are with Octopus on cosy tariff. We can set heat pumps to work on cheap times. Is working well. Will persist trying to get reply from Givenergy.
