My wifi router died, and this has left the ev charger unusable as you cannot setup the new wifi.
After following the instructions in the app, and just end up with processing forever. After downloading the installer manual, I managed to connect to the chargers wifi hot-spot, EVSE-53527483 and view the login for the webpage on http://192.168.4.1/ but the password they give in the book of 12345678 does not work. This explains why the app hangs.
This is my last attempt to make this work before I strip in down to workout a fix or skip it depending on what i find. This will be after doing a youtube of the issues then a teardown, with schematics. Bit of a waste as it's only 13 months old.
So i can use the charger I have connected via a LAN cable out the front door into the garage, so I can do everything other than sort the WiFi.
As far as I can see I need the correct password for the EVSE module Web page, as even after a factory reset does not reset the module password.
Or can I run a LAN cable between the ev charger LAN port and the LAN port in the inverter, then use the inverter wifi to connect to the Internet.
