My inverter started an uncommanded charge during peak Octopus Flux this evening. Winter conditioning on, but not cold enough to trigger. Nothing in the logs to explain it either. Has this happened to anyone else? Wishing I'd stayed on 3015...
Happened again. Winter battery conditioning off. No indication what triggered it in the logs. GE not responding.
buggsc can you look at what the SoC was around and just before the time of this charge?
Wondering whether the inverter suffered from a SoC drop and felt it had to charge to recover the battery as it was dangerously low SoC?
geoffreycoan So far, battery has been between 32 and 45% when it's triggered. No sign of SOC drop. Starting between 5:40pm and 6:30pm. Nicely in peak rate!
buggsc Have a look at the remote control page in the portal, is there a charge setup in any of the slots?
Check the remote control logs, is there any sign of a remote control activity that started the charging?
geoffreycoan The only charge set up is the overnight one. This wierd anomaly happens on different days and times, not every day as you'd expect a remote charging slot to do. Charging is also throttled which I don't have setup either. Nothing in the logs at the times of the uncommanded charging.
buggsc do you have any inactive discharge slots with discharge limits? One odd behaviour I noticed on my system was that if I have a discharge slot for, say, 4pm to 7pm with a min of 40%, it will (gently) charge up to 40% even if the timed-export flag is turned off.
