My current setup = 2 x 9.5 batteries & 1 AC-3 Inverter
I would very much like to add a 2nd AC-3 Inverter (with EMS unit)
I've downloaded a copy of the data wiring setup using the Giv EMS which looks like a straight forward change from my current configuration but I can't find any actual battery / mains wiring examples.
Does anyone have such a thing or if anyone has this setup already can you explain how it differs from having only 1 inverter.
I was HOPING I wouldn't need to add a 2nd run of cable (armored in my case as it goes outside) back to my consumer unit as the inverter & batteries are approx. 15 meters away from the main consumer unit.
I was thinking could I upgrade the existing cable run (from 4mm to 6mm) from batteries/inverters to the main consumer unit and put a 2nd consumer unit next to the batteries/inverters then supply a feed to each inverter from that

Rbor Yes I had thanks, but I hadn't noticed the "with battery" bit so I can now scrub that option of my list sadly.
so the way I see it I have 3 options
option 1 - Get a local installer to supply, install and commission (and probably charge a bloody fortune)
option 2 - Buy the parts myself (not too expensive) and get a local installer to install & commission (probably still charge a bloody fortune)
option 3 - Buy the parts myself, install them myself & fudge the commissioning somehow (NOT really what I want to do)

I really do need to talk with someone who has already added a 2nd AC Inverter at some point after their original installation to get a feel for what I will actually require.

[unknown] Looks very attractive but there is one reference hidden away that the offer is with a battery.
I don't want another battery, just extra throughput of energy with no cross charging between batteries!

I wonder if you can come to an arrangement where you take advantage of the offer, but the installer somehow ends up keeping the battery in exchange for a reduced fee.
