Our battery has stopped working, we are still generating electricity but there is a red flashing light and all our electricity extra electricity is going to the grid. We have been unable to contact givenergy for weeks by email, phone, app or carrier pigeon. This is really frustrating
nicholsonr Send them a letter before action (google it) by registered post. About time someone pulled the legal trigger on them.
Contact your installer you have a contract with them.
I had the same issue.
When checked the voltages of my battery it only read 3v total, and the last temp reading was -4c.
So SOC was 0% which happened after the cold spell.
You can wake up the battery again by using a 60v DC power supply to get some charge back into the battery, usually 1% charge will change the status from red to green, then the inverter will do the rest.
Somebody competent has to do this as it involves removing the battery cover.
