My Battery is discharging a massive amount more than my house load

Hi I don't know why I've not realised this before. I can't believe this is normal - is it?

Interestingly, the battery charge rate is greater than the grid grid import, and you have a load too..

Looks like it's exactly double. Also when it's charging, it's charging at twice the rate of grid import.

Is the battery sized correctly? Though since it has to guess the SoC by tracking power in/out, I'd expect jumps rather than just moving at the wrong rate.

Are you on an AIO by any chance?
If so is your bypass breaker up (bad) or down (good) in the gateway?
The bypass being up allows roughly half of the grid import to go unnoticed by the grid meter as...well...its being bypassed.
It also means your system will try to backfeed the street in a power cut (also bad)

Wow ! Yes I have an AIO !
I had a problem with the gateway last week some time, The power went on and off about 3 times in quick succession even though there was no power cut to anyone else.
The breaker for the AIO was down but I had power to the house? I reset the breaker and notified my installers.
They said they would not be able to do anything as it was now working and would charge me if they didn't find anything.
So basically not interested.
To be honest I'm struggling understanding the graphs and have only just noticed this problem. I can't get through to Giv-Energy and my installer doesn't care.
This is a new installation working since just before Christmas
I would appreciate any advice on what to do. I am in my late seventies and my brain isn't what it used to be 🙁

Daft Vader your installer sounds less than helpful.
So, the bypass MCB is in the gateway - it should have a small cover on it to stop it being pushed up (on) accidentally. It should be the second MCB from the right.
It should be down (off) for normal operation. If it is up then that is why your graphs are not reading right. If you turn it off and everything in the house goes off then there is an issue with your gateway & your installer really does need to sort it (likely to be the data cable between the AIO and gateway)

I have sent an email to Customer support and hopefully I will get a response before Christmas 🙂
I'm quite worried about it all. With such a complicated setup, without good support it could be a nightmare!
