AllinOne/Gateway: My inverter appears to have gone off line - no data update for several hours and when I try to update the firmware it says this has failed. I'll try switching everything off and on again tomorrow (when its daylight) but does anyone have any other suggestions?

SteveUK check all the trip switches in case any of them have caused the inverter to go offline. If the inverter is offline you won't be able to do a firmware upgrade, it needs to be both on and connected to the internet

If the AIO is all turned on, try powering your wifi router off and on again, sometimes they just stop talking to devices

Yes thanks, I tried that and it re-connected. It's gone offline a couple of times since and come back of its own accord. It went offline again yesterday but this time re-starting the router hasn't fixed it. I'm not sure what's going on.

SteveUK it sounds like it could be a poor wifi connection to your router if it keeps on dropping connection? The other thing to check is that you don’t have fast-roaming or anything similar turned on on your router as the GivEnergy dongles only work on plain-old 2.4GHz wifi
