I think its possible to get an AllInOne/Gateway to work with the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff. Is that right? If so, how do I set this up? I've selected 'Smart Tariff' and 'Octopus' on the GE app and entered account number, API and Smart Meter serial number and these have all been accepted but I can't tell from the resultant screens whether this is set up for IOG or if it is assuming some other Octopus tariff, eg Agile. Can anyone advise/explain? Thanks

Depends what you mean by "work with". Just charging during the 6 off-peak hours is trivial. Charging also during bonus slots, or avoiding discharging onto car, is harder.

Who's "them" here - Octopus or GE ? I wasn't aware either was offering a service to control GE kit with IOG additional slots.

If it is Intelligent Octopus Go then you are granting Octopus access to control your battery
CW That's IO Flux. The way to avoid your home battery discharging into your car with software is via some kind of local control mechanism such as Home Assistant + GivTCP + Predbat.
browellm Oops my bad! You are correct, IOG is just for charging EV's, now if only there were a way to delete those posts!!!!
Yeah I have IOG, just set the battery charge window on the AIO to be the cheap period, set it and forget.
