App notifications

I know that there is many discussions about this throughout this discussion board. But is there a way of being notified when there is an excess in solar that would alert your phone so that my wife might plug her car in and use the excess and not wait until there is 10 miles left before telling me the car needs charging..

1. EV charger will do this automatically - Zappi for example have a Eco+ setting where it will start charging the car when it detects excess solar being exported
2. GE app doesnt' currently send any notifications of this kind, you will have to design your own tool, or use HomeAssistant or other thirt party program.

Lexster1979 obviously comes down to personal preference, but if you're on an EV tariff, simpler to just export the solar for 15p and charge overnight for 8p or less.
Different if you have FIT, though.
