I have just had my battery installed and set the battery charge times for 01.00 to 05.00 but it has started charging immediately around 1.30 pm and normal day rates.
What setting have I missed.
Could it be poor wi-if and how can I check if the inverter got the time schedule?

If you have literally just had your system installed, then it is quite possible that the battery is doing a recalibration and/or charge as part of the commisioning process. The battery does not come fully charged when installed

To look at what is set on the inverter you can either use the "bbc app" (search on apple or android store for "givenergy") or there is the 'rubik cube' Android app.

Could be a recalibration though as CW says. This comprises a full discharge then a full recharge of the battery. Once started you can't stop it but you can reduce the charge rate down to zero and then adjust it in the cheaper rate

It may also be worth checking your system is actually set to the right time zone. It's under Account Setting.
When I had my kit installed last year this was not set right for the UK and I wondered why my charging times did not tally with real time.

It has started charging again tonight about 6pm - I have the charge time set to start at 01.00.
Something funny.
I can’t find anything under settings to change the time zone.
Is that in the App.?

I think you have to do it in the portal
LHS of portal page - account settings - Sync inverter time

Bobby123 It's via the web portal and Account Settings:

Bobby123 you need to set the time zone in the portal as CW says and then sync the inverter time as SteveCook says
