Hi
Noticed on my energy board that "GivTCP Energy Export Energy Total kWh" I was using stopped workign about 3 weeks ago - no data - initally though was due to no real sun so was not exporting - but the other day on fill sun and export was going I notices the energy screen was not updating.
Restarted GivTCP and also restarted HA

Morrisinc There is a problem that a couple of us have noticed with battery charge and discharge total that goes wild https://github.com/britkat1980/giv_tcp/issues/338 it could be you have a similar issue.
Restarting givtcp cures the problem, but why it occurs, so far no idea
That was a issue I had at the start of the year but I was using _today ones - switched the _total ones as advised on there and worked well - Just this export one is not returning any values - looking in dev at the sensor no data recordered.
Morrisinc The total sensors are definitely more reliable than the today sensors, but definitely seen a few unexplained issues with them as well
I’ve been working on writing a set of procedures for loading missing entity history in Home Assistant e.g. from the GivEnergy Portal so you can recreate the history for the Energy dashboard.
Got a bit more work to do on it but when done I’ll share it on this forum
