I reset my settings to charge my battery during an Octopus free energy period. Exported after it.
Now I am trying to set things back and I keep getting "There was an error changing your settings: Inverter Offline. Please try again".
I have tried several times.
I have restarted my inverter.
Any help much appreciated

Yeah the portal seems to have stopped responding. Both my inverters went offline around 8:40pm but are merrily working locally.

Looks like it's a problem at the GivEnergy end. Local control and monitoring work, but cloud control and monitoring haven't updated since 20:45 or thereabouts.

Edit:- I type too slowly ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Ditto. Last reading I have on the web portal was at 20:40:38.
I raised this problem in the facebook group GivEnergy unโ€officialโ€ group, and lots of others are affected. ๐Ÿ™

Similar, although have one reading circa 9pm too.

Mine went offline at 2025-02-25 20:43:37. Still down after more than 90 mins. Schedules don't get through but local access is fine.

Windy Miller Updating for over 5m my end, might have been JUST too soon to see it change if you were on 5m refresh intervals on portal.

THIS DAMN OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG CRAP

Jellybaby Mine's back at 2025-02-25 22:22:45. Just about the time I posted my earlier message. Could be a superfast response from GE... unlikely.

Although 'Home' dashboard was still showing data, there was no control over scheduling with 'inverter offline' message. I thought that local control meant changes could be made even without the GE server. Would a previously saved schedule have worked in this instance?

How long will the inverter go back online, it's been one full day of my online battery being a '?', the 'help' section say to change configuration and then back to the original but it doesn't seem to be having any effect.

Sorry, 'Local control by other than the GivEnergy app'. E.g. The Inverter app or GivTCP. ๐Ÿ™‚

The GivEnergy provided tools send all control messages via the cloud based servers.
