Hi, when I try timed charge on my battery my inverter has told me that it doesn’t recognise my battery. They were fitted at the same time and have previously worked fine.
Would it be a simple reboot?
Thanks
Scott

ScottMcLeod Post exactly what it says/screenshot it. Confirm the battery has a green (solid, not flashing) LED lit.
Thanks yes the green lights are flashing just checked tonight
It says ‘we couldn’t detect any battery pack connected to this inverter”
Thanks
Has the BMS cable fallen out of the port on the underside of the inverter. On my Gen1 it fell out as it does not clip in (like an RJ45) and there is no clamp on it.
There should be BMS warnings appearing on the web portal
I took the plastic cable boot off the bottom of the inverter - 2 Philips screws - and put the BMS cable back in. seem to remember pulling some slack BMS cable into the boot (6" or so) wrapping a load of insulation tape around it so that the wight of the cable hanging out was taken by the tape jamming on the inside of the boot taper. Been fine for 2 years now.
Thanks everyone, really sorry to say that the issue has been resolved and it was as simple as it had been switched off……really embarrassed to say I should have checked that before asking.
Thanks for coming back and holding your hand up.
Useful to know and we have seen similar issues.
