Hi folks,

we had a low voltage power cut last night. We're currently being powered by a generator until they dig the road up to find the fault. I checked the givenergy app and the figures are crazy, as per photo link.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going on, and, most importantly, if this is something I should be concerned about (damage??),

thanks

Scottishcammy well that is crazy, super-high battery and solar kWh figures.

Never seen anything like that before. Is it a DNO owned generator? If so, you would think that it would produce a grid supply of at least similar quality to what you normally get.

It has been mentioned before that some generators don't produce smooth mains supply and this can cause problems, it could well be the source of your wild data. Is it just your house being powered from this generator or is it other houses as well - thinking about when you export excess solar, does it have anywhere to go?
