Server Overwrites

I'm still new to this. I have a 13.5Kwh battery with Gateway and solar. I'm on standard Octopus Flux and I have set things up as best I can so that with a bit of dynamic scheduling (me on the App) I can get what I want. But every day it seems that something overwrites my settings. I've found the bit called 'Remote Control History' and I can see all my actions listed as 'You' and it's kind of reassuring to know that my inputs are being registered. But then there are some counter actions which are carried out by 'Server' and over a 24hr period, they negate all my settings. There is nothing online that tells me who 'Sever' is and why it has override access to my settings. Does anyone here know how I can delve deeper?

RR50 have you setup the smart tariff card in the GivEnergy portal ?

Sounds like it’s that changing your settings unless you’re signed up to wonder watt or similar

geoffreycoan Many thanks for your help. I had set up my tariff details. I hadn't realised it intended to automate the control and I certainly didn't like what it was choosing today. Another school day for me! 🙂
