I can no longer set battery discharge time slots using either the settings tab or going into remote control settings, this has changed in the last few weeks. All the other controls work (timed charge, export etc), also what even is the beta portal, have I missed something significant? I'd be very grateful for any help, it would be great to be able to restrict battery discharge times again before next winter, thanks.

Tony_W Timed discharge is implemented using the underlying timed pause feature, which is not available on older hardware. The app/portal was changed to not offer it for inverters that didn't support it, but that happened quite some time ago.
If you go into the remote-control section on the portal, does that have a pause battery setting ? (in the Control section, for me).

DD Yes, I've tried pause battery in remote control, it hasn't worked so far, but I'll keep trying.

Tony_W you need to also set a time interval that the pause is in force. Eg if you wanted timed discharge from 4pm to 7pm, you'd set pause discharge from 7pm through to 4pm (ie the inverse time)
DD Thanks for your help, I think I've got it sorted now, can you also get the remote control settings with the app? I've only found the settings tab with the discharge time on the app so far, that also seems not to function any more.
Tony_W no I don't think so. The remote control (and the API) gives you more direct control of the configuration registers; the app and portal provide a sanitised view.
