I've just had a second battery installed and despite both batteries showing 100 % and an excess of solar to run the house, the battery is showing a small discharge of 123 Watts to the grid. I'm pretty sure that in this situation with the single battery, it would just sit waiting for a load. Does something need adjusting?
Phil you will get small discharges and charges from the grid as the inverter takes time to respond to changing house load. Also remember what you see in the app is just a point in time snapshot, every 5 or 1 minutes
The inverter sees multiple batteries as being one giant battery, there's no extra configuration to be done once the installer has commissioned it
geoffreycoan thanks Geoffrey, I appreciate that there will be some odd discharges. It just looked different, now I have the second battery. Usually when the battery is at 100% and there is an excess of solar exceeding the house load, the battery used to report as idle. I just noticed today that there was a constant small discharge to the grid which stayed on. It would also report as charging, when showing 100%. I just wondered if there was some setting that needed changing.

My single 5.2kWh battery always discharges slowly now when it gets to 100%. It seems like as soon as it has no load it realises it has slightly over charged and discharges at about 16W until the voltage gets to about 52.9V. Most days it doesn't ever get there before it gets used to power the load.
I don't remember it doing this last year but I haven't updated the firmware so I don't know why the behaviour has changed. Another thing that has changed is is stops discharging at 6% but is used to be 5%.
I think it is only 1% short at the bottom end, so probably not worth calibrating yet.
