I would appreciate any help with this issue - my battery will not stay energized.
Normally, if I switch the battery DC isolator on, it initiates the battery. But at the moment is does not do that and when I press the battery black button it sequentially puts the % LEe's on and then the operational light, then it beeps and shuts down.
Note, when the operational light comes on, for a few seconds i can hear a very slight fluttering sound inside the battery casing as though an internal relay is chattering.
With the battery DC isolator off, the battery powers up ok on the black button and is showing 50% charged and is at 54.2v.
Many thanks - Bill

Buster as TheDragon (GivEnergy) says, contact givenergy support

it very much sounds like you have got the “click of death”, the battery controller board in the inverter has failed and what you hear is the relays inside the inverter trying to connect to the inverter, failing after a while, then switching itself off.

If the battery isolator is off then the battery will power up ok.

Same happened to me. Needs the inverter replacing. There’s other threads on this forum about this issue

Buster note: but the fluttering sound is coming from the battery, not the inverter

yes that's what happened to me, it is actually the inverter that has failed, but what you hear is the battery trying to connect to the inverter and failing
