I have a new AIO just installed, on octopus intelligent go, the only settings are charge 11.30pm to 5.30 am
There are no discharge times set, but during the day when nobody is home it's giving me 4kw discharge but too no where, it's not going to house load, nobody home everything off, and it's not going to export as per the chart so I've no idea what's happening and what causes it?
Dave_Sw1 Its most likely that this wasn’t an actual discharge, it was your AIO correcting its idea of how much battery charge it actually had.
Unfortunately this can and does happen from time to time. The best way to reduce it happening is to regularly exercise the battery from full to empty and back to full again, if it’s kept fairly full for long periods of time this exacerbates the issue.

It is 4kw but for a very short time. Do you have a fridge and/or freezer cutting in? A Qooker topping up? A gas boiler and pump firing/running to do your hot water?
SteveCook but any of those ought to also show as consumption on the graph. Looks to be at least 4 samples in width, so of the order of 20 minutes.
Unless they've changed the way they depict SoC adjustments? I thought they typically manifested as change in SoC without any corresponding power.

Dave_Sw1 Is all the data present?
If its not then a brief blip on the graph can get extended as the portal only samples data every 5 minutes.
Eg - brief blip to 4000W (for whatever reason, but not actual consumption) followed by 3 sets of missing data will show as 20 minutes at 4000W on the graph. There would be no corresponding consumption indication.

geoffreycoan thanks Geoff this sounds plausible, although it was saying battery state of charge was down to 40% which when I'm not home the base load should only take it to around 90% so looks like it did discharge, it as you state maybe it wasn't that fully charged and corrected?
I'll keep an eye on it for reoccurrence.
I run the same system at another property and never seen this before.
Vestas when you say it's all the data missing? Where would you see that exactly? I've only really used the app
