How can I stop my battery discharging to the grid

I have noticed that my battery appears to be discharging its stored charge to the grid leaving nothing to use for the household.
Has anyone experienced this and how can I stop this?

As DD said, no idea what system you have or if any settings have been changed, are you also on any intelligent tariffs?
