Looks like the energy graph data is on the fritz again. We all thought they rectified it yesterday, but no data showing since 9:30am this morning
Energy graph
Anything other than meter data I found is completely useless anyway, it keeps reading solar to battery as grid to battery for me and a lot of other things and the gateway sensors are showing the opposite to what the all in one inverter sensors show.
The GivEnergy api was updated on Apr 10 and that coincides is when the energy graph calculations started generating nonsense. This update seems to have broken the energy-flows api call that the energy graph displays use.
If they can't fix it quickly then they should at least revert the recent change until they sort it out.
It looks like they may have reverted this morning 13 Apr as indicated in known issues.
Currently my energy graph in app is looking more sensible.
Rtidey APIs have changed? Whats that all about? I do automatic remote API settings so would be intrested to know more. On the surface it looks like my EVC remote settings arnt taking effect.
I don't think the API has fundamentally changed but Apr 9 they updated it and I think broke the energy-flows call which then led to incorrect energy graph data in app and portal. Other API calls were sti;; working OK.
This morning Apr 13 I think they reverted to the pre-Apr 9 version so that the energy graph data looks OK again.
API updated again Apr 15.
I can't see any reference to what might have changed, but energy graph still looks sensible.
As of June 2nd its started again. I raised a ticket with Giv Energy and they are aware of it and working on a fix. No timescale for that......
