I have had a Gen2 5Kw inverter with 2x 9.5Kw batteries since may 2023 and always have issues with installing firmware updates. The ARM software on the inverter has to be installed locally as does the battery firmware as it will not load via the portal. last week GE technical system said the batteries had no USB's installed. I don't use a WiFi dongle as I have a LAN connection directly to my internet hub. So now waiting for another GE service engineer to visit and sort it out.
I had heard that some early gen 2 inverters had issues with updating,. Does anyone else have the same issue?
