I’ve noticed that my solar panels are only peaking production of about 2.8 kw in recent days even though we had full Sun and panels on south facing roof.
To compare, 3weeks ago in part cloudy skies we were hitting 3.8kw at times.
Do I need a service visit? .

Mark777 clouds can actually increase production, by scattering light slightly - depends on the pitch of your roof, etc. Also, the panels can be slightly cooler on a cloudy day, which increases output.
My 6.7kWp array was producing peaks around 5.8kW earlier in the month. Today's peak was 4.5kW. Full sun both days. Difference is likely to be due to the moisture in the atmosphere (haze) and the air temperature around the panels. Not very windy today and a high of 24oC. Earlier in the month was 15oC and more of a breeze. Also shading at one end of the array as the Horse Chestnut now in leaf.
