I'm going to exceed my export limit from time to time. I had thought that I might force export the battery during the morning peak, then only charge once the export limit was reached. But I can't find a way to do this... any ideas?

[unknown] does the inverter automatically enforce the export limit? If so, simply turning off eco may be sufficient. Works for me to avoid solar clipping, by providing grid-first priority: it generateds AC up to the 5kW limit, and puts the rest in the battery.
ah OK that sounds good... but I can't see how to turn off ECO mode I thought my only options were forced charge / forced discharge ? (I don't seem to have a mode switch anywhere that I can find)

Nil Desperandum In the app and on the portal inverter/settings, eco mode on/off is the first configuration item.
In the remote control page, it's 'enable eco mode'
DD yeah I don't seem to have that. I I have timed charge / timed export / winter battery conditioning ... and that's it!
In fact I just noticed I can't even see an export limit line anymore??? It used to say 11.04kw which is correct but I can't find that now. Do you happen to know where that is?
wrighar yeah problem is battery would fill very quickly - hence want to export first then fill battery with excess (over export limit)
[unknown] oh... How strange. An oddity of 3-phase model.
Before I discovered the eco trick, what I used to do is continuously adjust the charging power via modbus, so it consumed just enough power to leave as much as possible for AC, without clipping, which a similar problem to what you're tackling. I should still have that (python) code lying around somewhere.

Given the lack of control that I appear to have, I've decided to hand control to Octopus on the Intelligent Flux... see if they can do anything useful. Thanks for your thoughts.
