Does anyone else use Mesh wifi, I have spotted that since my folks had a mesh wifi system install the EVC stays connected for about 8h and then disconnects and won't come back online without a reboot.

matttheotter I have mesh wifi but not the Giv EVC.
I'd imagine it is similar chipset though. Make sure you have fast roaming turned off and are not using WPA3 (transitional) security. I found with the inverter I had to turn the 5GHz network off, let the inverter connect to 2.4GHz, and then once connected I could turn the 5 back on again.
I have mesh WiFi but have one of the boxes next to my inverter and have a Ethernet cable from it to the inverter. Works a treat. Never had any issues
Yep. Geoffrey's got this. I had a few connection issues with my Google mesh Wi-Fi a while ago. As part of my trouble shooting, I did disable WPA3 and the system reconnected. Google mesh does not have the ability to disable 5GHz, but in my case this didn't seem to matter.
Once the inverter connected, I re-enabled WPA3 and, for a while it worked. But after a day the inverter disconnected again. I've now turned off WPA3 permanently and it all feels a lot more stable.
You called this in a different thread, Geoffrey. Thank you. It's frustrating, but disabling higher security connectivity appears to be a possible solution to GivEnergy dongle connectivity woes.
I also have a mesh system, but I have separate SSIDs for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
