Fine weather and solar panels are generating... and exporting well... but Octopus pays a pittance for exporting because my smart meter doesn't work because this village has a lousy mobile signal. So I'd rather heat water through the iBoost first, then charge the battery, THEN start to export. What is the best setting to do this? Any advice?
So far as I am aware, that can be done, but it cannot be automated in a standard system.
I believe if possible, the best way of doing this is to set the export rate feature on the iboost to 50W or less, this will then pick it up before the battery.

You could set a Timed Charge with a low battery level. That would mean that the panels output would go to the iBoost and/or export.
Or set a Timed Boost in the iBoost settings which will force the iBoost to charge at full pelt during certain times. You can set 2 x Timed Boosts per day. Obviously, if the PV panels are not generating enough to deliver the immersion heaters needs the inverter will drag charge out of the battery and/or use grid input.
Setting the iBoost Timed Boost will probably be the best solution especially if you are only using the immersion heater for your hot water needs.
