Inverter and batteries located on a wall of detached prefab garage, I want to rebuild the garage.
Question: if I isolate the system for reconstruction for say a week, will it reconnect automatically .

Sorry I cannot help much, but I do believe you should not leave your batteries in a discharged state for long, or they may not restart. I think they get shipped with a holding charge around 40%

The batteries are no problem, its will the dongal reconnect automatically when I disconnected the power from the inverter

if you can login to your router and see your dongle - something like HF-21. See if you can assign a fixed IP address to that device. Next time power goes off and comes back on, the dongle should find the router and connect to the internet.
I have assumed you are on an inverter with a dongle and not a LAN connection
