I've had a system with two batteries installed on June 30th. In the early hours of July 2nd we experienced 3 power cuts. Western power do not appear to have any outages in the local area. Amy ideas or is it pure coincidence?

bhorth Now you mention this. I might be in the same boat.
We have lived in this property for 1.5 years and have had solar for 5 ish months and had batteries installed end of May. I have had a few small power cuts, enough for the ovens to loose time setting and home server to shut down since the Ac coupled inverter was installed along with batteries. Interestingly, never had unplanned power cut before this.
May I ask what type of PV/solar do you have?

bhorth Could it just be low voltage rather than power outages? What voltage does the portal (My Inverter/Grid Data) say you had around that time?

The inverter grid data is not likely to indicate a 1-2 second black out as it only records the average voltage, current, power over 5 minute log periods.

If there was enough of a fault with the inverter to drop out the house supply then there would be a tripped MCB in your consumer unit that would require a manual reset.
Just co-incidence I think that you have had some local power cuts. Maybe check with neighbours to see if they have had to reset oven clocks etc.

We have had three genuine power cuts from western power since May.
Their system seems a bit flaky right now.
