Gateway is shutting down (tripping out) when the grid goes down (power cut), rather than switching to back up? Any ideas if there is anything I can do, or will I need to wait for engineer?

Cnadin Does it fully shut down? What breaker trips?

I had an initial problem where the AIO breaker would trip if the grid went down - it turned out to be a loose connection on the breaker which once fully tightened the problem went away.

I do have a drop of power if the grid goes down and there is too much solar. In that instance the system goes down for about 30 seconds to power off the inverter then brings the AIO back online

Hey [unknown]
There are a few reasons. If your generating solar whilst your battery is full when the grid cuts off. You might get a short interval where it shuts down until it can cut your solar generation off.

For a true test drop your battery down to say 70% and trip the grid breaker in your gateway (if you don't have an isolator switch before).

See how it behaves then.

Thanks
Bob
