Accuracy of giv energy v metre

Hi all, my meter read yesterday from the grid was 0.6kw, but giv energy said I drew 0.09w from the grid. Is it normal for this discrepancy or is there an issue with my setup? Its a new system. Thanks!

Think it uses algorithms rather than metre readings. Between my bills, for example, it underestimated my grid use by around 5%.

I have a discrepancy between the portal and home monitor. So far today my monitor shows 0.35kw grid use.
However the portal also shows 2 different figures - Grid In = 0.07kw and Import = 0.3kw

I would like to understand why these figures differ.

Is the top banner not live information right now, and the chart below is showing half hour values.

The snapshot could have been taken 25 minutes through the most recent half hour period, so the chart has not updated yet. The 'Import Today' and 'Total' values would only match when a half hour period has just been completed.

The data on the top is the most recent cumulative info from the previous 5 minute snap shot. The other graphs take a while to update and reflect from what I've read in other forum posts.
