Me too on the Portal but my my phone App looks the same. Lime green thingy on the tab & a green bar on LH side of the Portal page.
Seems there is an explanation in the "What's new" section of the Portal under "Miscellaneous".
Seems the Smart Tariff has been updated.

Questionable new colour palette🤮! Why has battery, which has always been consistently dark blue, changed to black in some displays now? Good that the figures at the top of the dashboard are not scrolling.

The portal and the GivEnergy app look the same to me, is there some A/B testing going on?

Whoa - that’s very icky green.

Preferred the previous colour tbh. Probably should be an option to choose a pallet rather than making it that by default with no options.

It's odd in 2025 to set a dark colour palette and not have the option to change to a lighter more contrast heavy one for those with vision problems

Good to see that they're focussed on how things look though, saves them the hassle of looking at all the software bugs and firmware issues.

Home Dashboard, is it the eco something to the right of the house icon? =Oops! Something went wrong!

Aside from the colour change there is a bug - when exporting the grid icon isn't displaying the export power.

CGoode Spoke too soon. Phone App now looks like Joseph's coat of many colours. Square batteries have gone round & there's a bunch of other changes I have yet to discover. Jury's out on whether it's for the better or worse.

Despite checking for updates earlier without success it has now arrived. I am mildly irritated by the house load icon size and alignment within the circle - it feels like it should be reduced by 5% or 10% so it can have some white space around it.

Battery doesn't look like a battery anymore, and more like a single cell.

Misaligned icons are highly irritating. It just shows sloppiness in design and testing. It makes you wonder what's going on with GE's more important back end software development and implementation.
Personally I have no strong views on the colours used especially on the Dark scheme. It looks OK.
My major objection is that the app is no longer compatible with older Android devices. I wonder how long support will continue?

Quick settings errors out when I select the battery and try to set to the " Play " button.

I have vision issues, and this new iteration has not helped at all! When will businesses realise, the focus should be on the customer, not pis#ing about trying to make their tech look nice.

I can no longer click HELP and then COMMUNITY and read the posts on the phone app!

Not updated the app since the OG one but the new portal is giving me headaches im solely having to rely on home assistant, don't know what idiot thought that color/font scheme was a good idea but I am finding that green hard to read and that mixed in with the font of everything else is horrific.

Don't know why they keep messing about with crap but its making me angry and I still have had no contact from them in months.

I will answer my own question go here for version 3.4.25 July 25th 2025. Scroll down the page and you will see previous versions. Once you have it loaded turn off updates to the app. When GE get the APP sorted out then turn updates for the GE App back on.

I hate the AA style battery image and don't notice any improvements. If I go home in landscape mode on my tablet and then press the pylon it goes into portrait mode and doesn't switch back unless going to another screen and back to home. Then the bottom task bar get in the way on my android phone.

Yes much better, it was a very 2003 design feature

It would very much depend on what type of colour blindness they had.
A friend of mine struggles with yellow and when I showed him the portal pages he couldn't see any of the yellow generation text at all.

Update: Just discovered that if i hover the mouse over the totals, arrows appear and if clicked, they scroll through the other totals.
