Batteries wont discharge

So I have a GivEnergy Inverter HY3.6 and two 5.1kWh batteries and yesterday they stopped discharging, I can't tell if the charge as they were fully charged.

I tried force discharge and timed discharge and nothing happened. So this morning I turned all my solar equipment off, including my batteries off and then waited a couple of minutes and turn it all on again, and the batteries started to discharge and I could start and stop it via the app, then at 16:36 today it was discharging and got to 89% and stopped and I noticed this match the upper limit I wanted my batteries to charge to.

I have done a battery calibration and that discharged and charged the batteries so I am at a loss to why it no longer discharges, can anyone shed some light on what the issue may be, I have attached the battery log from today

chrisnash I would go to the givenergy cloud portal and click on My Inverter then click the cog wheel to open the remote control page. Check the Battery Reserve and Battery Cuttoff limits. Refresh the readings by using the circular arrow to the left of the reading. The portal quite often shows a cached reading rather than what is on the inverter. Check to see that the Pause Battery option is set to Not Paused. Also check your charge and discharge slots by refreshing the readings.

NormC Hey Norm it all seems normal to me, it is as if the portal doesn’t actually send the command to the inverter, but it does register them in the logs.

chrisnash have you clicked the little circle symbol next to each of these settings to force the portal to get the latest values from the inverter?

your problem looks to be your cutoff limit though, it should be 4% not 89%

geoffreycoan Good spot, but I have changed it and it hasn't changed anything, here is a question for you, if I calibrated my batteries whilst it was on 89% cut off limit do you think this would stop them discharging below that limit?

I wouldn’t think so. The calibration does a full discharge and full recharge in order to work out what a 4% reserve and 100% limit is so I would expect it does just that, it ignores any existing reserve or limit values set

@geoffreycoan you seemed to have solved the issue, it was the cut off limit causing this issue, I restarted my inverter and it seems to be working again, thank you for your assistance. You are a superstar!!!!!!!!!!
