Still a newbie trying to work out various settings to control my inverter. I see discussions referring to the 'Eco mode' and, indeed, on the GivEnergy article on controlling modes (https://kb.givenergy.cloud/article.php?id=7&oid=2) there is an explanation (of sorts). But I do not see any Eco Mode on my Inverter settings page. My Inverter Model is: GIV-3HY-11 and the software version is: DA0.009-DD0.009-A0.009. Am I looking in the wrong place ? Any advice gratefully received

Jonw that's the 3-phase system? I've heard the software on that isn't very mature. The version number is very low - I wonder if there's a firmware update available?
Jonw if you go into the portal, select your inverter, then go to the remote control page (cogwheel icon), you should see a toggle option for Eco mode. I thought the 3 phase worked very similar to the single phase inverters. Or at least modes are much the same
How might ECO mode work on a 3-phase supply?
On single phase the system uses a CT to measure the import and adjusts outputs power to reduce the import to zero. But on 3-phase you have 3 imports. Should the system try to zero each phase individually or output the same on each phase to match the total load (in which case what is doing the adding up?).
I presume the inverter is limited to 3.68kW on each phase, giving a maximum total of 11.04kW .
Lets imagine you are using 9kW. This is split as 4kW on L1, 4kW on L2, and 1kW on L3. Should the system "simply" add them up and divide by 3 outputting 3kW on each? Or should it max out at 3.68kW on L1 and L2 and somehow put the missing 0.64kW onto L3, thereby outputting 1.64kW to L3. Or should it simply fail to match the import, leaving you importing the missing 0.64kW from the grid even though your consumption is within the power rating of the system?
You probably don't have ECO mode on 3-phase.

I don’t think 3 phase kit has it? (If it’s not there on the portal then I know Giv gets some flak but this key one would be there)
It was a while ago but I think the 3 phase kit balances the individual phase load up to 3.6kW (for the 11kW one) but if it’s unbalanced load greater than that, it will also attempt to force a export on the other phases best it can to achieve a zero sum via Vector metering.
