I got a notification "We didn't manage to successfully sync the time on your inverter after 100 attempts. Visit your account settings in the portal to sync the time manually. If you have set any timed charge or discharge slots they ay not work correctly until the time is synced". We've manually tried to sync multiple times but receive the same message. We've also tried switching off the inverter and putting it back on in the hope this sorts it out. No luck so far. Should we be concerned or is this something which sorts itself out in time?

Ann_Hudson if the portal is unable to synchronise the clock to the inverter then your inverter will be stuck on BST and any timed charges etc will be at the wrong time

If you are getting repeated failures then it points to a comms problem between your inverter and your wifi. Rebooting the inverter is usually a good fix

I never had this issue before (at least 5 BST/GMT clock changes) with separate AC Couoled Inverters. But I had the same issue too over the weekend after having an GivEnergy EMS fitted. The system didn’t provide power for the house load even though it was well within the time period.

Reboot from within the portal didn't resolve the issue.
Set time and date (send) in the portal didn’t resolve the issue.
It only worked after I reset the settings to default (charge, discharge times) and then set the schedule again.

Anyone know how the time is (manually) synced?

In the portal.
My Inverter LHS
Remote control cog top RHS
Scroll down page to INVETER and see the 2 bars TIME AND DATE. Hit SEND any you should get a confirmation reply.
I would post and image but it takes forever with numerous tries!!

Thanks. At least I know I did the correct step although to no avail on my system.
