barrys I had a problem in June where I could get data from the inverter using the GivEnergy app, Home tab, but when I tried to use the Away tab it said that it had not had any contact with the inverter for many hours. Checking the GivEnergy Cloud showed the inverter as offline.
I checked my router and it showed that the inverter was connected to the network.
My installer said that it could be a firewall problem on the router. He asked me to turn off the router leave it for a minute and then restart it. I did this but it did not solve the problem.
He then asked me to do a total shutdown of the system (Inverter, PV panels and battery switch and isolator).
I was told to leave it off for a couple of minutes and then restart the system.

This solved the problem for me.

When you get your inverter online, I suggest you go to the Givenergy Cloud Dashboard and click My Inverter on the left-hand menu. Then click the cogwheel on the right-hand side to open the Remote Control settings page. If you scroll down you can check that your discharge settings are correct. If they look correct click the circular arrow to the left of the start and end times to force a refresh of the value held by the inverter register. This can get out of sync.

Hope this helps.
