Recently changed broadband service provider and router. How I am unable to see the dongle to reconnect to the new wifi.
I tried connecting direct (plugging the dongle into my laptop and with it in place after a reset.
Any suggestions please?
(not that it should matter but it is an AC coupled system)
Edit your new router settings and set the wifi SSID and password the same as the old one.
Turn off 5Ghz until dongle connects.
Set the dongle to a fixed IP in the router. It should be called something like HF-21
If you use the old SSID and pword all your other devices will connect
Or just set up a hotspot on your phone to match the old details. Once connected you should be able to open a Web Browser, navigate to the IP address of the inverter and change the WiFi details that way.
This will require the same admin credentials as if you were connecting to the dongle Access Point.
Last option is to reset the dongle and I believe there should be a button on the end for that. Obviously you would then need to set up the network from scratch - and should remember to change the admin password (and disable the dongle Access Point when you are done).
