Battery/inverter have gone insane.

This afternoon, the battey SOC changed from 62% to 100% instantaneously, with no perceptable voltage increase and only 5 kWh of charge in an 8.2 kWh battery.

This evening, the maximum rate of charge or discharge available to set in the app of the portal have changed from 2.6kW to 256W.

Despite the stated settings, the battery is currently discharging at 500W, with 1.25kW of solar, as I microwave some soup.

What's going on? Feels like someone has cast a variable to be 1byte unsigned or similar. software versions havent changed today.

Adding as new post:- Portal remote control values and battery settings are back to 2600W, but App is still showing 256W. This is version 3.1.8.3042

My battery is currently on 3008! Installed by martin the service guy when he visited to fix a problem. App now says 2600W. Don't know what was going on, but that part seems to have sorted itself. I'll now see how low the battery gets tonight.

Sorry if I appear to be talking to my self...

I had a closer look at yesterday's battery voltages in comparison with todays. it appears that the estimated 62% was wrong and the inverter/battery decided that SOC was now 100% once the voltage rose to approximately 56.5V, thereby correcting the SOC calculation..

As for the temporary inability to configure more than 256W of charge or discharge current. I guess that's just a gremlin in the software. 😀

I also saw the 256W max charge thing a couple of weeks ago, it didn't seem to affect the actual rate of charge, and reads OK now.

I had exactly the same this afternoon, I upgraded the firmware last night to 3007 from 3001.

Digging around in the settings the battery charge and discharge settings somehow had been zero'd!

Setting them back to 2600 seems to have sorted it ( I will be keeping an eye on it though!)
