My App usually only offers AWAY connection to my Server. A few months ago I noticed the HOME connection was working. When it stopped working I did not consider it worthwhile chasing down a fault that occasionally connected properly.
Today, I noticed HOME is now working again without any action on my part.
My suggestion, if AWAY works don't but a gut trying to resolve HOME.
Home only works if you are on the same network as the inverter. It can be helpful to assign the inverter a fixed IP address on your network, this can normally be done using DHCP or address reservation settings on your router control panel.
After you have assigned it a fixed address and the inverter has actually moved to that address (you may need to wait up to 24 hours), you can then configure the address under Local Monitoring in the app settings.
pwdst all good but on initial setup and randomly since it works. I did try along the lines you suggested to no avail.
It is still working as it should. I see no difference between Home and Away, so I see no point in trying to fix what works.
Home updates every ten seconds, Away every five minutes. In essence the Inverter only dials home periodically to send data, but you can get near real time updates if you want them - either to see exactly what is happening now, or to feed into an automation. The data reported is the same either way.
