My system has been stable for a good while - and then all of sudden last night it suddenly drops to zero from 23%.
This sort of thing becomes much more of an issue as peak rate electricity gets more and more expensive, as it sat there until the PV started charging the batteries
Perhaps I do need to try the upgrade - been reluctant up to now as it's been stable.
(Inverter Firmware Version D0.533-A0.534; Battery Firmware Version 3005; dual battery set up)
GrahamRead I think the first thing GE support would do is update your battery firmware to 3007 and do a re-calibration.
GrahamRead did you get this resolved? My battery is doing the same thing every 4 to 8 days I’ve just noticed.

Did it again this morning. I'll have to contact support and get the files for manually adding to the USB's as the batteries won't update automatically.
This happened to me on the 31/8/2022 for my 8.2KWh battery whilst on latest battery version 3007, and latest ac3.0 inverter version D0.534-A0.534. It dropped from 25% to 0% within 5 minutes and then drew loads from the grid to recharge above 4%. Is there a new firmware version coming out soon for the inverter or battery?
This has been mentioned a number of times on the Givenergy Facebook page. The general consensus is that the battery is physically ok and that it's monitoring system that's faulty, i.e. the reported charge SoC is out. In which case it should be correctable with a firmware update.
