Good Morning.
We’ve had another battery unit added & commisioned yesterday (Friday) But overnight my usual charging set up hasn’t worked & they are still showing 4 & 6% respectively.
I’ve tried to set up a charge & nothing has happened. I have restarted the inverter & tried to set a charge again, but still nothing. Communication issue or something else? I would appreciate your thoughts.
Also on the Inverter, no Meters are detected. Not something I’ve noticed before. Thank you in advance.

What kit have you got and what Gen?
How was the battery added? By an approved installer?
Have the dip switches been set correctly.
Are both batteries on the same firmware?
Has the BMS cable and the EM115 comms cable been dislodged from the ports on the inverter - on Gen1 there is no positive latching like an RJ45 and they can fall out
Is you EM115 powered on. It should be glowing greenish

Just contact your installer, they are responsible to make sure it all works correctly before handing it over to you.

SteveCook Morning Steve, it’s an AIO not sure which Gen, but originally fitted 2 yrs ago. By an approved installer.(the same one that has commisioned the adding of the new battery unit) The battery capacity… is actually only showing 13.58 (4 packs) & I know that should now be doubled. ?? They are fitted in-line.
No-one seems to be available until Monday & I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me having missed something simple.
The remote portal is one I am familiar with & use the battery on “hold” when I am charging & when appropriate I will set discharge times & I cannot see anything wrong with my set-up there. As for cables…. That’s a whole different ball game for me.

I do thank you for your reply.

bRhFDKtjRMK9 You are right of course & thank you for your reply. I just wanted to check it wasn’t something silly I’d overlooked.

Unfortunately the final bit of the commisioning was done remotely as the electricians had to return to fix a communication fault. But that was fixed & both batteries appear on the App. But, I don’t see anything different on the Portal. Not sure how to check. The Husband has checked all cables & the consumer unit & all appears to be fine.

Sorry I have no idea about AIO or Gateway. It just seems like something is not correct if it is showing on app, but not on portal.
Does it show on app if you are not connected to your home network? ie is the gateway somehow not connected to the internet and hence the portal but connecting locally to the app?

I think there is a home and an away mode on the app. Maybe it is connecting to your kit in home mode, but the kit is not connecting to the internet which is why the portal is wrong

Assuming everything else is correctly installed and set, then I would expect to see a value in both of the boxes. Mine are set to max 6000w.

Thank you all, we’re charging now. I set the charge/discharge Power to 6000 & changed the inverter settings too. I do wish there was somewhere we could see what the Remote Control Page should look like. That would have been helpful to me. So Thank you again.
