At 1930hrs a couple of days ago, my app recorded that the home load as zero. However, the export to the grid appears to be the same value as the home load should be. However, when the home load is high, eg when the kettle is on, there is a large home load indicated.
Nothing has changed regarding CT clamps and no errors that I can have shown up in the logs. Anyone experienced this before?

I think the inverter takes time to react to the load, and I dont know how closely it follows the load (ie if it can exactly follow the load, or reacts in chunks).
If your kettle is say 1.0kW, maybe it takes 765w from battery and 550w from gid as the best match it can do, with say 300w feeding lights in the house etc
Others on here will know better than me

SteveCook Thanks for your suggestion. The home load has never indicated zero in the 2 1/2 years I've had the installation. The home base load is between 500 and 700W and this has always been visible on the App and the portal.

You may be finding like many others of us, that the GE app and Portal are showing a lot of inaccurate information. GE are aware but are dragging their heels putting it right.
