EPS Fault or Inverter Issue?

A couple of times now my EPS has gone offline, by that I mean I've lost power to my downstairs sockets and all the house lights which are the only circuits on the EPS but the rest of the house has power. No trips have gone, the inverter shows offline, meter communication failure. The Em115? meter is off, but as I said no trips have gone.
I thought it might be the tumble dryer but that's been replaced and same issue has happened again today.

Any ideas? Edit - added inverter data if that helps?

Can you turn the EM115 back on? If the EM115 is off, I think you should see a communication error in notifications if you are using the portal

SteveCook Yeah it said 'Meter communication failure' and the EM115 was dark but there was no way to turn it back on. This is the 2nd time it's happened recently. I thought if the inverter had an error then it should still power those circuits from the mains?

How is your EM115 powered? Does it have it's own MCB in the consumer unit?
Is is on another circuit in some way that is tripped?
Are the power cable screws to it tight?
I think you should try and get the EM115 running 1st.
I dont know how the inverter "thinks", but I would clear what you know is wrong and then see what happens

I think my setup is like your in that a number of circuits are always EPS fed, so I took the EPS output to a manual changeover switch with 2 inputs and a single output
Input1 - EPS from inverter
OR
Input 2 - mains from an MCB in the consumer unit

Output - circuits that are EPS fed.

If my inverter dies or ever needs to be shutdown for maintenance, I can use the manual changeover switch to put mains onto my EPS circuits.

That's the setup, none of the trips had gone and it just came back on eventually. Only thing I can think of is that the demand was too high maybe?

I don't think I have a manual bypass, I will look to get one installed but need to find another company as my original installer is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

You can see how much the EPS output the inverter can support from equipment data sheets (you dont say what you have). I put an MCB on my EPS output to trip if my EPS circuits were exceeding the design inverter output, although I did calculations to make sure I could never get near it (lights, boiler, router, fridge etc only)

I guess the inverter reset, though you dont explain why EM115 was off, unless it is on an EPS circuit
